Meet Jaja, the Newest Energetiks Ambassador: A Rising Star with Big Dreams and Boundless Energy

Say hello to Jaja Cunanan — dancer, model, performer, and one of the youngest Energetiks Ambassadors lighting up our screens! At just 7 years old, Jaja is already making waves in the dance world with her infectious energy, passion for performance, and love for all things creative. We sat down with her to get to know the girl behind the moves — and we couldn’t be more inspired.

An Introduction to Jaja!

Jaja trains in Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Hip Hop—and while she loves each style for different reasons, Hip Hop is her favourite thanks to its unmatched energy and freedom of expression. Her dance journey began at just 3 years old, when her love for music had her moving to the beat any chance she got—it was pure joy from the start. If Jaja could swap lives with anyone for a day, it would be Victoria Justice as Tori Vega from Victorious. Spending a day at Hollywood Arts, taking acting classes, and living the performing arts dream sounds like absolute magic to her. One of her biggest goals? Visiting America to see Hollywood Arts in real life—and hopefully meeting Tori while she's there!

Dancing from the Heart

Jaja’s love for dance began with a love for music. From a very young age, she was always moving to the beat, dancing around the house whenever a song came on. Her parents saw how much joy it brought her and decided to enrol her in dance classes—and she hasn’t looked back since. For Jaja, music is everything; it’s that magical connection between sound and movement that made her fall head over heels for dance. While she’s still discovering her path, she’s currently enjoying a mix of dancing, singing, modelling, and acting—and loving every minute of it.

Proud Moments and Big Dreams

Despite her young age, Jaja’s already achieved some incredible things. One of her proudest moments was starring in an international campaign for an Australian department store that launched in the Philippines—seeing her extended family react to her face in shopping malls was a truly special experience. She’s also had the chance to work on a TV set with stars like Dakota Fanning and Sarah Snook, an unforgettable dream come true. When it comes to the future, her biggest goal is simple: to keep having fun, keep learning, and hopefully inspire others along the way. And even with such a busy schedule, Jaja keeps things balanced with plenty of downtime—whether it’s drawing, watching Victorious, or just spending time with family.

Off-Duty Favourites

When Jaja’s not lighting up the studio, you’ll most likely find her in her go-to Energetiks outfit—the Zuri Crop Top and Shorts. They’re super comfy and perfect for training days. And when heading to class, especially now that it’s winter, she’s layering up in her Energetiks Cozies to keep warm before jazz or lyrical. But dance isn’t her only passion—when she’s off the dance floor, Jaja’s all about arts and crafts, drawing, or enjoying a snack while watching her favourite show.
